Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to work in schools across Doncaster. This position would suit qualified educators who can explain mathematical ideas in simple ways, challenge students at the right level, and help learners develop confidence with numbers and problem-solving.
The Math Teacher supports students in building strong mathematical knowledge, improving reasoning skills, and applying what they learn to different types of problems.
Math Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons across relevant year groups
- Explain topics such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and number clearly
- Use different examples and activities to support varied learning abilities
- Encourage learners to think independently and solve problems step by step
- Check progress through classwork, homework, and assessments
- Help students prepare for examinations and improve weaker areas
Math Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience teaching Mathematics within a school or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum
- Ability to support and challenge students at different ability levels
- Effective planning, communication, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
