Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are seeking passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher to work in active schools across Sheffield. We are keen to hear from qualified educators who can make physical education enjoyable, encourage students to participate, and help learners develop important skills through sport and exercise.
The PE Teacher delivers active and inclusive lessons that help young people improve their fitness, sporting ability, teamwork, and confidence.
PE Teacher Responsibilities:
- Teach a variety of sports and physical activities across different year groups
- Demonstrate techniques and help students improve their sporting skills
- Plan activities that allow learners of different abilities to participate
- Encourage teamwork, respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship
- Monitor individual performance and provide helpful feedback
- Contribute to sports clubs, school teams, competitions, and events
PE Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience teaching PE within a school or similar setting
- Good knowledge of the PE curriculum and a range of sporting activities
- Confidence leading practical lessons both indoors and outdoors
- Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
