Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking motivated Key Stage 2 Teachers to work in primary schools across Doncaster. We want qualified teachers who can deliver clear and engaging lessons, support different learning abilities, and encourage children to become confident and independent learners.
The KS 2 Teacher will provide well-planned learning across the primary curriculum, helping students strengthen their core skills and prepare for the next stage of their education.
Key Stage 2 Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Make classroom activities clear, engaging, and suitable for different abilities
- Help learners strengthen their skills in English, Mathematics, and other subjects
- Check children’s progress through classwork, activities, and assessments
- Provide useful feedback and additional support where needed
- Create a positive classroom where students feel confident to participate and learn
Key Stage 2 Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in an educational setting or similar
- Good understanding of the primary national curriculum
- Ability to plan lessons for children with different learning needs
- Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
