Year 5 Teacher – Part Time – Oldham
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Salary: MPS/UPS pro rata (dependent on experience)
Contract: Part-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2026
We are recruiting a Part-Time Year 5 Teacher for a primary school in Oldham. This is a long-term role suited to a qualified teacher looking for 2-3 days within KS2 from September.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 5
- Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records
- Manage classroom behaviour and routines
- Support pupils' progress toward Year 6 SATs expectations
- Work closely with the wider Year 5/KS2 team on planning and moderation
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
- Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 5 or Year 6
- Strong subject knowledge and confident lesson planning
- Available for part-time hours (days to be confirmed with the school)
