Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are keen to hear from enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to work with active schools in Doncaster. We are looking for qualified educators who can deliver enjoyable physical education lessons, motivate students of different abilities, and promote teamwork, confidence, and healthy habits.
The PE Teacher creates an active and supportive learning environment where students can improve their physical skills, enjoy sport, and develop important personal and social skills.
PE Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver practical PE lessons across a variety of sports and activities
- Teach learners the rules, techniques, and skills involved in different sports
- Encourage students to take part and work towards their individual goals
- Promote teamwork, respect, fair play, and positive behaviour
- Assess performance and provide helpful feedback to support improvement
- Take part in school sports events, clubs, and extracurricular activities
PE Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience teaching PE within a school setting or similar
- Good knowledge of the PE curriculum and different sporting activities
- Ability to motivate young people with different interests and abilities
- Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
