Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are welcoming applications from skilled Computer Studies (CS) Teacher to work in tech savvy schools across Doncaster. We are interested in qualified educators who can make computing easy to understand, introduce learners to digital technology, and create lessons that encourage curiosity and problem-solving.

The Computer Studies Teacher will have the opportunity to help students develop their knowledge of computing, coding, and digital systems while encouraging safe and confident use of technology.

Computer Studies Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computer Studies lessons that meet curriculum requirements
  • Introduce coding and programming through clear and practical activities
  • Help learners understand computer systems, software, and digital technology
  • Encourage students to solve problems using logical and creative thinking
  • Check progress through classwork, projects, and regular assessments
  • Prepare young people for examinations and further study in computing

Computer Studies Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
  • Previous experience teaching Computer Studies, Computing, or ICT
  • Good understanding of computing, programming, and digital technologies
  • Ability to explain technical topics in a simple and engaging way
  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
