Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to appoint dedicated Mathematics Teacher to work in amazing schools across Doncaster. We are keen to hear from qualified educators who can explain mathematical ideas clearly, build students’ confidence, and encourage them to approach problem-solving with a positive mindset.
The Math Teacher supports learners in developing strong numerical skills, logical thinking, and a secure understanding of key mathematical concepts.
Math Teacher Responsibilities:
- Prepare and teach Mathematics lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Present challenging topics in simple and understandable ways
- Use different activities and examples to keep students involved in learning
- Identify areas where learners need extra help and provide suitable support
- Assess classwork and tests to monitor progress and provide useful feedback
- Help young people prepare confidently for assessments and examinations
Math Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school
- Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum
- Ability to teach and support students across different ability levels
- Good communication, planning, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
