Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of pupils across the primary phase. You will create a positive classroom environment, assess learning and use your knowledge of the curriculum to help pupils make steady progress. Working closely with colleagues, you will contribute to a supportive school community where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence and enjoy their learning.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.

Assess, monitor and record pupil progress.

Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs.

Establish clear expectations and maintain positive behaviour.

Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil development.

Communicate effectively with parents and carers where appropriate.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching within a primary school setting.

Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.

Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-
A genuine commitment to helping pupils achieve their potential.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
