GSL Education London Branch is looking for an experienced Maths/Computer Science Teacher to join an independent secondary school for boys in Lewisham from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Maths/Computer Science Teacher to inspire students, develop their knowledge and help them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
As a Maths/Computer Science Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Computer Science lessons across secondary year groups.
- Teach lessons that are well structured, challenging and accessible to students of different abilities.
- Use a range of teaching methods to encourage students to participate and develop their confidence.
- Assess students' work and monitor their progress, providing useful feedback to support improvement.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and effort.
- Create a positive and respectful classroom environment.
- Support students in developing strong mathematical, digital and problem-solving skills.
- Work closely with colleagues to contribute to effective curriculum planning and student development.
- Take an active role in the wider life of the school.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching both Mathematics and Computer Science.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Computer Science.
- Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
- A positive, enthusiastic and professional approach to teaching.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
