Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to appoint innovative Computer Studies (CS) Teacher to work in tech savvy schools across Sheffield. This opportunity is ideal for qualified teachers who can inspire pupils through engaging lessons in computing, programming, and digital technology.
The Computer Studies Teacher delivers engaging lessons that develop digital literacy, computational thinking, and practical technology skills while creating an inclusive classroom where pupils are encouraged to innovate and succeed.
Computer Studies Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in computing, coding, and digital technologies
- Introduce pupils to programming concepts through practical, hands-on learning activities
- Encourage safe, responsible, and ethical use of technology within and beyond the classroom
- Evaluate pupils' understanding through coursework, practical assessments, and regular feedback
- Support pupils in developing analytical thinking and creative solutions to technical challenges
- Contribute to departmental initiatives, curriculum development, and technology-focused enrichment activities
Computer Studies Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching Computer Studies, Computing, or ICT in a secondary school
- Strong understanding of programming, computer systems, and digital technologies
- Ability to deliver engaging lessons that motivate learners of all abilities
- Excellent classroom management, planning, and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
