Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join schools in Sheffield. This role is ideal for qualified teachers who are passionate about making mathematics engaging and accessible for learners of all abilities. You will help pupils strengthen their analytical thinking, numerical skills, and problem-solving abilities while fostering a positive attitude towards the subject.
The Math Teacher delivers engaging lessons that develop mathematical understanding, encourage logical reasoning, and prepare pupils to achieve success both academically and beyond the classroom.
Maths Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured mathematics lessons that cater to pupils with a range of learning abilities
- Incorporate real-life applications to make mathematical concepts engaging and relevant
- Identify learning gaps and implement targeted strategies to improve pupil attainment
- Challenge high-achieving pupils while providing additional support for those requiring intervention
- Prepare pupils for internal assessments and external examinations through effective revision and feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share effective teaching practices
Math Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school environment or similar setting
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate pupils and create an inclusive learning environment
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
