Salary: Up to £200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, encouraging students to develop practical skills, creativity and technical knowledge. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess progress effectively and create an engaging classroom environment where students are motivated to achieve their best. Working as part of a supportive department, you will contribute to raising standards and promoting a positive learning experience.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Assess, monitor and record student progress.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of individual students.

Promote safe working practices within practical classroom environments.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Design and Technology within a secondary school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A passion for delivering high-quality Design and Technology lessons.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
