Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking energetic Physical Education Teacher to join schools in Doncaster. We want to hear from qualified teachers who can deliver engaging physical education lessons, encourage participation from all learners, and promote the importance of health, wellbeing, and teamwork. You will inspire pupils both inside and outside the classroom while contributing to a positive sporting culture within the school.
The PE Teacher delivers inclusive and engaging physical education lessons, helping pupils improve their fitness, teamwork, and sporting abilities while supporting their overall personal development.
Responsibilities of PE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities
- Encourage pupils of all abilities to participate confidently and achieve their personal best
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to support ongoing development
- Promote teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Organise and contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities
- Maintain a safe learning environment by following health and safety procedures during all activities
Requirements for PE Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching Physical Education within a secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and a variety of sporting disciplines
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for inspiring young people through sport and physical activity
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
