Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are partnering with schools in Doncaster to recruit knowledgeable Computer Studies (CS) Teacher. This role is ideal for qualified educators who can inspire pupils through engaging computing lessons while developing their understanding of programming, digital literacy, and information technology.
The Computer Studies Teacher delivers engaging and innovative lessons that develop pupils' technical knowledge, computational thinking, and problem-solving abilities while creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Computer Studies Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons covering computing, programming, digital literacy, and information technology
- Encourage pupils to develop logical thinking and practical problem-solving skills
- Assess pupil progress regularly and adapt teaching to maximise achievement
- Create a classroom environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and safe use of technology
- Support pupils in completing coursework, practical projects, and examination preparation
- Work closely with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Computer Studies Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching Computer Studies, Computing, or ICT within a school setting or similar
- Strong subject knowledge across computing concepts and digital technologies
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils with innovative teaching methods
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
