Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking passionate Early Years Teacher (EYT) to join welcoming schools in Sheffield. This opportunity is ideal for qualified teachers who are committed to delivering inspiring early years education through play, exploration, and child-centred learning.
The Early Years Teacher creates engaging learning experiences that support children's academic, social, and emotional development while fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Early Years Teacher Responsibilities:
- Design engaging learning experiences that promote curiosity through play and exploration
- Use ongoing observations to assess children's development and plan meaningful next steps
- Foster early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills through interactive teaching approaches
- Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued, secure, and encouraged to participate
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and families to support each child's individual progress
- Promote children's independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive attitudes towards learning
Early Years Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching within an Early Years or EYFS setting or similar
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Ability to create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
