GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking a dedicated Computer Studies Teacher to join a supportive school in Barnsley. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students to develop their computing knowledge, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills through engaging and interactive lessons.

Key Responsibilities of the Computer Studies (CS) Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons across all Key Stages
- Teach topics including computer science, programming, digital systems, and information technology.
- Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress and achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Requirements for the Computer Studies Teacher role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Computer Studies or Computer Science in school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
