Salary Scale: £34,068 to £52,834 (MPS/UPS)

GSL Education Hull Branch are currently seeking a Primary Teacher to work within a supportive and inclusive specialist educational setting in Scarborough. We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and dedicated educator who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting children with a range of learning needs to achieve their full potential.
Primary Teacher Role:
The successful Primary Teacher will deliver high-quality, child-centred learning that promotes academic, social, and emotional development. We are looking to recruit a Primary Teacher who can create an engaging and nurturing classroom environment, adapt teaching to meet individual needs, and inspire children to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Primary Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of pupils across the primary curriculum
- Differentiate teaching to support pupils with SEND and a range of learning abilities
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support development
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing and achievement
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support individual learning journeys
- Work collaboratively with the wider school team to deliver high-quality education and pastoral support
Primary Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within a primary school or specialist educational setting is desirable
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
- A caring, adaptable, and creative approach to meeting the needs of all learners
- A good understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive teaching practices
- An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
