Are you an enthusiastic Year 1 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Redbridge from September.
Position: Year 1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Redbridge
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Long-term
Start Date: September 2026 (Trial from 4th September)
Daily Rate: £95–£120 per day
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a Year 1 class in a friendly and inclusive primary school. You will work closely with the class teacher to help students achieve their full potential in a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
- Experience supporting students in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Experience supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- A positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A valid DBS registered on the Update Service
- 2–3 professional references covering a minimum of 2–3 years of employment history
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
