Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher

Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are seeking a Computer Studies (CS) Teacher for fabulous school in Sheffield. We would like to hear from a knowledgeable, innovative, and enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging lessons, develop pupils' computing skills, and inspire confidence in digital technologies, programming, and problem-solving.
The Computer Studies Teacher role provides the opportunity to prepare pupils for an increasingly digital world by delivering high-quality teaching that promotes computational thinking, creativity, and responsible use of technology.
Computer Studies Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons that meet curriculum requirements
- Teach programming, digital literacy, and computer science concepts using a range of teaching strategies
- Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress to support their academic development
- Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Promote safe, responsible, and effective use of technology within the classroom
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
Computer Studies Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching Computer Studies in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Commitment to delivering engaging and high-quality education
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
