Supply Teachers Wanted - Pathway to Long-Term Positions in Tameside, Stockport & Manchester
Location: Tameside, Stockport & Manchester
Start Date: Immediate & September 2026 starts available
Contract: Day-to-Day & Block Supply, with Genuine Long-Term Opportunities
Salary: Competitive daily rates (MPS/UPS equivalent)
Start on Supply. Build Toward Something Longer-Term.
We're looking for Qualified Teachers (QTS) to join our supply team across Tameside, Stockport and Manchester, with genuine opportunities to move into longer-term and permanent positions as schools get to know you and you get to know them. Supply work is often the quickest way into a school you love, this is your chance to use it as a stepping stone, not just a stopgap.
Whether you're new to the area, taking a flexible approach to your career, or looking to find the right school before committing long-term, we'll get you into classrooms quickly and support you every step of the way including finding schools willing to support any ECT terms if new to teaching.
About the Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will:
- Take day-to-day or block bookings across primary schools in Tameside, Stockport and Manchester
- Deliver planned lessons in line with the National Curriculum, maintaining continuity for pupils in the teacher's absence
- Manage classroom behaviour and routines confidently from day one
- Build relationships with school staff and pupils that often lead to repeat bookings at the same school
- Take on long-term or permanent roles where the fit is right, with full support through the transition
Why Work With Us
- A genuine route to long-term and permanent positions — many of our supply teachers have gone on to secure ongoing roles at schools they were placed in
- Choice of day-to-day flexibility or block/long-term bookings, depending on what suits you
- Regular work across a strong network of schools in Tameside, Stockport and Manchester
- A dedicated consultant who gets to know your strengths and matches you to schools where you'll thrive
- Support with National Curriculum planning expectations, behaviour strategies and settling into new schools quickly
- Opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
- Experience teaching within the Primary phase
- Confidence delivering the National Curriculum, with the flexibility to adapt to different schools and classes
- A calm, professional and adaptable approach
- Genuine interest in finding a longer-term home, not just filling diary gaps
If you want more than a one-off booking — a genuine chance to find your next long-term school through supply — we want to hear from you.
