Salary: £90–£120 per day (dependent on experience)

This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is ideal for recent graduates considering a career in teaching, educational psychology or another education-related profession who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers to support pupils across a range of year groups and abilities. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions and work with pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of the Graduate Teaching Assistant:

Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom.

Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Delivering targeted interventions under the guidance of the class teacher.

Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.

Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs where required.

Promoting positive behaviour and classroom engagement.

Encouraging pupil confidence, independence and participation.

Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant Will:

Hold a degree in any subject.

Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.

Have previous experience working with children or young people (desirable).

Be enthusiastic, patient and adaptable.

Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Have a fully checkable work history.
