Salary: Up to £200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you an enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for an opportunity to inspire young learners and make a lasting impact? A welcoming primary school in Sheffield S5 is seeking a dedicated General Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
About the Role:
As a General Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, creating an inclusive classroom where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their best. You will monitor progress, adapt learning to meet individual needs and help pupils build confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning. Working alongside a supportive staff team, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

Assess, monitor and record pupil progress.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching within a primary school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A passion for delivering high-quality primary education.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
