Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher ready to begin your teaching journey and make a positive difference in the classroom? A welcoming primary school in Sheffield is looking for a motivated ECT to join their team from September 2026.
About the Role:
As an Early Career Teacher (Primary), you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning while supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will help you develop your classroom practice, planning and assessment skills, giving you an excellent foundation as you begin your teaching career.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.

Assess, monitor and record pupil progress.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents and carers.

Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before September 2026.

A strong understanding of the primary curriculum.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A positive, enthusiastic and reflective approach to teaching.

The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
