About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring pupils continue to make progress during staff absences. You will quickly build positive relationships with students, maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour, and adapt confidently to different classroom settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety while delivering consistently high-quality teaching.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects in line with school expectations.

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different classes and abilities.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.

Assess learning during lessons and provide feedback where appropriate.

Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A flexible, reliable and professional approach to teaching.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
