Salary: Up to £200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you an enthusiastic Geography Teacher eager to bring the world into the classroom and inspire students to explore it? A welcoming secondary school in Doncaster is looking for a committed Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

About the Role:

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their understanding of physical and human geography while encouraging curiosity about the world around them. You will plan and deliver well-structured lessons, monitor progress and create an inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to achieve their best.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Assess, monitor and record student progress.

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of individual students.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A passion for delivering high-quality Geography lessons.

  • An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
