Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you a passionate Supply Teacher looking for the flexibility to teach in different schools while making a real difference to pupils' learning? A welcoming school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated Supply Teacher to join their team immediately.

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across your allocated year groups or subject specialism, ensuring pupils remain engaged and continue to make progress during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable teacher who enjoys working in different classroom settings while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum and lesson plans.

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities.

  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.

  • Assess learning during lessons and provide constructive feedback where appropriate.

  • Follow school policies and procedures, including behaviour management.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

  • Ensure learning continues smoothly during staff absences.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Previous experience teaching within UK schools.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Confidence in adapting to different classroom environments.

  • A flexible, reliable and professional approach.

  • An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.

  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
