Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: September 2026
Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping young children grow in confidence and achieve their best? A welcoming primary school in Doncaster is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary), you will work closely with class teachers to support learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will provide classroom support, deliver small group interventions, assist pupils who need additional help and encourage positive behaviour throughout the school day. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in helping children develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

Support pupils during whole-class teaching and small group activities.

Deliver targeted interventions to support literacy, numeracy and other key areas.

Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.

Encourage positive behaviour and help children remain engaged in learning.

Provide additional support for pupils with varying learning needs where required.

Monitor progress and share relevant observations with teaching staff.
Requirements:
-
A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Previous experience working within a primary school setting is desirable.

A good understanding of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, caring and proactive approach.

A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
