Location: Sheffield S5
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

Are you a dedicated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity to make a positive difference in the classroom? A welcoming primary school in the Sheffield S5 area is seeking an enthusiastic General Primary Teacher to join their team from September.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, creating an enjoyable and purposeful learning experience for pupils. You will plan and assess lessons that meet the needs of your class, encourage curiosity and confidence, and help every child make strong academic and personal progress. Working closely with colleagues and support staff, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

Assess, monitor and record pupil progress to support achievement.

Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of all learners.

Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.

Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching within a primary school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A passion for delivering high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
