Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons using the school's planning, maintain a positive learning environment and ensure pupils remain motivated and on track during the absence of their usual teacher. Whether you're looking for day-to-day assignments or longer-term placements, this role offers the opportunity to gain experience across different school settings while enjoying flexibility to suit your schedule.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of year groups and subjects as required.

Follow school policies and lesson plans to ensure continuity of learning.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.

Assess pupils' understanding during lessons and provide feedback where appropriate.

Adapt your teaching approach to meet the needs of different learners.

Work professionally with school staff to ensure a smooth handover at the end of each placement.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Previous teaching experience within UK schools is desirable.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

A flexible, adaptable and professional approach.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
