Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £600 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping children learn, grow and achieve their best? A welcoming primary school in Doncaster is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

About the Role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to support pupils' learning and development. You will deliver targeted interventions, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create an engaging classroom environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed. Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms.

  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to help pupils achieve their learning goals.

  • Assist the class teacher with planning, preparing and delivering engaging learning activities.

  • Encourage positive behaviour and active participation during lessons.

  • Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.

  • Monitor progress and share relevant feedback with teachers where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

  • Previous experience working within a primary school is desirable.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A caring, patient and proactive approach.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

  • A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
