Job Title: Early Years Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are inviting applications from Early Years Teachers for fabulous schools in Sheffield. We are seeking enthusiastic and nurturing educators who can deliver engaging learning experiences, support children's early development, and create a safe, stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
The Early Years Teacher role provides an excellent opportunity to shape children's academic, social, and emotional development while fostering a lifelong love of learning through creative and child-centred teaching.
Early Years Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom that encourages exploration and independent learning
- Monitor, assess, and record children's progress to support their ongoing development
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of all learners
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and colleagues to support children's learning
- Promote children's wellbeing, safeguarding, and positive behaviour at all times
Early Years Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching within an Early Years setting
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
