Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to appoint Key Stage 2 Teachers for amazing school in Barnsley. We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and creative educators who can deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and support pupils in reaching high academic standards.
The KS2 Teacher will offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality teaching, promoting pupils' confidence and curiosity, and preparing them for the next stage of their education.
Key Stage 2 Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress to inform future teaching
- Differentiate learning activities to support a range of abilities
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
- Promote high standards of behaviour, wellbeing, and academic achievement
Key Stage 2 Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
