We are currently seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Greenford from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and passionate Music Teacher to deliver engaging lessons, nurture students' musical abilities, and promote a love of music both inside and outside the classroom.

The successful Music Teacher will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Have strong experience teaching Music within UK secondary schools.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective Music lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable).
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge across practical and theoretical aspects of Music.
  • Be passionate about inspiring students to develop their musical talents and appreciation of music.
  • Possess outstanding classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and senior leaders to support student progress and achievement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Preparing students for performances, concerts, examinations, and enrichment opportunities.
  • Promoting participation in extracurricular music activities, including choirs, ensembles, and school productions.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and supporting whole-school initiatives.
