Teacher of Technology
Location: Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, Full Time, Part-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £168.80 – £261.79 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education Hull branch are currently hiring dedicated Teachers of Technology to work in secondary schools across Bridlington and the surrounding areas. Whether you are looking for day-to-day supply, long-term placements, or a permanent position, we can help you find a role that aligns with your experience, subject expertise, and career aspirations.
As a Teacher of Technology, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons that encourage students to develop technical knowledge, creative thinking, and hands-on skills. You will inspire learners to explore a range of design and manufacturing processes while preparing them for further study and future careers.
Main Responsibilities as a Teacher of Technology:
- Plan and deliver engaging Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum and examination specifications.
- Teach practical and theoretical aspects of Technology, encouraging creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning needs.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and ensure safe working practices within practical learning environments.
- Contribute to curriculum development and support extracurricular projects or enrichment activities where appropriate.
Teacher of Technology Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Technology within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more areas of Design and Technology.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
