Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are inviting applications from Computer Studies (CS) Teacher for progressive schools in Doncaster. We are seeking knowledgeable and forward-thinking educators who can deliver engaging lessons, encourage computational thinking, and equip pupils with the practical skills required in an increasingly digital world.

The Computer Studies Teacher role offers a rewarding opportunity to develop students' technical expertise, creativity, and confidence while preparing them for future education and careers in technology.

Computer Studies Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Teach topics including programming, computer systems, cyber security, and digital literacy
  • Encourage computational thinking and practical problem-solving through interactive learning
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity and digital innovation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning and departmental development

Computer Studies Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
  • Experience teaching Computer Studies or Computing in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of computing principles and digital technologies
  • Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
