Pay: £460 - £650 per week (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branchare recruiting Sports Coach for active schools in Doncaster. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individuals who can use sport and physical activity to engage pupils, promote positive behaviour, and encourage active participation in school life.

The Sports Coach has an excellent opportunity to use your coaching experience to support pupils' physical, social, and personal development within an educational environment.

Sports Coach Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging sports sessions that encourage participation, teamwork, and physical wellbeing
  • Support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, and leadership skills
  • Adapt coaching activities to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities
  • Encourage positive behaviour through consistent guidance and encouragement
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance pupil engagement
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Sports Coach Requirements:

  • Experience in sports coaching or physical activity leadership in a school setting
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage children and young people
  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils
  • Commitment to promoting wellbeing, participation, and personal development
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
