Job Title: Early Years Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire branch are recruiting Early Years Teacher for welcoming schools in Sheffield. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated educators who can create stimulating learning experiences, support children's early development, and foster a positive foundation for lifelong learning.
The Early Years Teacher role offers a rewarding opportunity to shape children's academic, social, and emotional development during the most important stage of their educational journey.
Early Years Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging learning activities that support early childhood development
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Foster children's communication, social, and emotional development through play-based learning
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate observations and assessments
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child's development
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and a love of learning from an early age
Early Years Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage is advantageous
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
