Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: September 2026

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and support pupils as they progress across the primary curriculum. You will plan, assess and adapt learning to meet individual needs while creating a positive classroom environment where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Assess, monitor and record pupils' progress.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A passion for delivering high-quality primary education.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
