Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

As an Early Career Teacher (Primary), you will deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum while developing your confidence and classroom practice within a supportive school environment. You will plan and assess learning, adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils and work closely with experienced colleagues who will help you grow professionally. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

  • Assess, monitor and record pupils' progress.

  • Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of all learners.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

  • Take an active role in the wider life of the school where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or successful completion of Initial Teacher Training leading to ECT status.

  • A good understanding of the primary curriculum.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupil progress.

  • An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
