Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time

You'll be working in a range of supportive primary and secondary schools across Sheffield. Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum and expectations.

Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and teaching settings.

Maintain a positive learning atmosphere and effective classroom management.

Support pupils' learning and encourage active participation.

Assess pupils' understanding where appropriate and provide feedback.

Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour procedures.

Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching within UK primary and/or secondary schools.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
