Salary Scale: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS)

GSL Education Hull branch are currently recruiting for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and adaptable Secondary Teacher to work across secondary schools in Scarborough and the surrounding areas.

About the Role:
As a Secondary Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons within your subject specialism across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages students to develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Core Responsibilities of the Secondary Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and wellbeing
As the Ideal Secondary Teacher, You Should Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities
- A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach to teaching
To Work with GSL Education, You Must:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Provide an up-to-date CV with relevant reference information covering the last 2 years
- Have recent experience teaching within an educational setting
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
