Job Title: Early Years Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire branch are inviting applications from Early Years Teacher (EYT) to join schools in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will be a creative and nurturing educator who can deliver engaging lessons, foster a love of learning, and provide a supportive environment where every child can thrive.
The EYT will have a rewarding opportunity to shape children's early educational experiences while supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Early Years Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom where children feel safe and encouraged to learn
- Support children's language, communication, and personal development through play-based learning
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate observations and assessment records
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child's learning journey
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, wellbeing, and classroom practice
Early Years Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Previous experience teaching within an Early Years setting is desirable
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Ability to create engaging learning experiences that meet individual developmental needs
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness toapply)
