Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay: £600–£800 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education Newcastle branch are working with welcoming schools in Middlesbrough to recruit Primary Teacher. The Primary Teacher role provides an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact during the early stages of children's education while supporting both their academic and personal development.

Responsibilities of Primary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver creative lessons that meet the primary curriculum
  • Create an inclusive classroom where every pupil feels supported and encouraged
  • Monitor learning progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and establish high expectations for learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil achievement
  • Maintain accurate records while upholding safeguarding and school policies

Requirements for Primary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Previous experience teaching within a primary school is desirable
  • Good understanding of the National Curriculum and effective classroom practice
  • Ability to inspire young learners through engaging and creative teaching
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
