A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in South Manchester is looking to appoint a qualified teacher with strong SEND experience to join their team on a part-time, long-term basis from September.

Whether you're an experienced SEND Teacher, a Primary Teacher with extensive SEND knowledge, or simply looking to reduce your hours while continuing to make a meaningful impact, this could be the perfect role.
About the Role
Working closely with the school's SENCO, class teachers and pastoral team, you will:
- Deliver targeted teaching for pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language Needs (SLCN), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and SEMH.
- Deliver interventions linked to EHCP outcomes.
- Adapt teaching to meet individual learning, communication and sensory needs.
- Support pupils both individually and in small groups.
- Monitor progress and contribute towards reviews and provision planning.
- Help pupils build confidence, independence and engagement with learning.

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a primary setting
- Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs and a range of additional needs
- Excellent adaptive teaching and behaviour management skills
- Patient, nurturing and collaborative approach
