Job Title: Early Career Teacher (Primary)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: September 2026

About the Role:
As an Early Career Teacher in Primary setting, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage curiosity and support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will build your classroom practice, assess pupil progress and contribute to a positive learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.

Assess, monitor and record pupil progress.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of individual pupils.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by September 2026.

Suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

A good understanding of the primary curriculum.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and supporting young learners.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
