Salary: Up to £200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills. You will plan and deliver well-structured lessons, assess progress effectively and create an inclusive classroom where students are encouraged to build confidence and achieve their best. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Assess, monitor and record student progress.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of individual students.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers where appropriate.

Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A passion for delivering high-quality English lessons.

An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
