Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay: £90–£120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education Newcastle branch are inviting applications from Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in supportive schools across Middlesbrough. We are looking for a confident and proactive individual who can work closely with teaching staff, provide effective classroom support, and encourage pupils to achieve their full potential.
The L3 Teaching Assistant will have the chance to support engaging learning experiences while helping pupils build confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards education.
Level 3 TA Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted support to individual pupils and small groups during classroom activities
- Assist teachers with planning, preparing, and organising learning resources
- Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils remain focused and engaged
- Monitor student progress and share relevant observations with teaching staff
- Contribute to an inclusive classroom where every learner feels supported
- Support the delivery of lessons while promoting a safe and well-organised learning environment
Level 3 Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant equivalent experience is desirable
- Previous experience supporting children or young people within an educational setting
- Confident working independently as well as part of a wider school team
- Strong communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach
- Passion for helping pupils achieve both academically and personally
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
