Job Title: Secondary Teacher
Location: Redcar and Cleveland
Pay: £140–£190 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education Newcastle branch are looking to appoint Secondary Teacher to work across supportive schools in Redcar and Cleveland. We would like to hear from enthusiastic and dedicated educators who can deliver engaging lessons, maintain high classroom standards, and encourage students to become confident, independent learners.
The Secondary Teacher has an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students' educational journeys while working within welcoming and inclusive school communities.
Secondary Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured lessons that meet curriculum expectations and learning objectives
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs and abilities of individual learners
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
- Foster a respectful and engaging classroom environment that encourages participation
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote positive educational outcomes
- Uphold school policies relating to behaviour, safeguarding, and student welfare
Secondary Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching within a secondary school environment is desirable
- Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Confident managing classrooms and promoting positive behaviour
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with a collaborative approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
