Job Title: PE Teacher

Pay: £150–£200 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are recruiting a Physical Education Teacher to join supportive educational settings in Leeds LS28. We are seeking an energetic and motivated educator who can deliver engaging Physical Education lessons, encourage healthy lifestyles, and help students develop confidence, teamwork, and resilience.
The PE Teacher will provide an excellent opportunity to promote physical wellbeing while encouraging students to achieve their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.
PE Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across a variety of sports and physical activities
- Encourage students to develop teamwork, resilience, and positive sporting attitudes
- Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Ensure practical lessons are delivered safely while maintaining high health and safety standards
- Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events
- Create an inclusive learning environment where every student is encouraged to participate
PE Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching Physical Education within a secondary school is desirable
- Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and practical teaching methods
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
