Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Leeds LS27
Pay: £120–£140 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor (CS) to join supportive educational settings in Leeds LS27. We are seeking a confident and adaptable individual who can supervise pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure students stay focused throughout the school day.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting students' academic progress.
CS Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the teacher's absence
- Maintain positive behaviour and ensure a productive classroom environment
- Encourage students to complete learning activities to the best of their ability
- Record lesson outcomes and provide clear feedback to teaching staff
- Respond appropriately to classroom situations while following school policies
- Support the wider school community with additional duties when required
Cover Supervisor Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Confident managing groups of students in a classroom setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments
- Positive approach to behaviour management and student engagement
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
